On some days (i.e. today) when I get into trouble by coming down with a flu, it makes for the perfect situation to rest in bed and when possible, check out sites people recommend via email or Facebook. I have a long list of these sites and today's recommendation comes from a really close friend of mine, Power Ekroth, who is a curator based in Stockholm. She recently curated a show with a super nice title, its called "Wrap your troubles in a dream" (http://andregali.blogspot.com/2008/08/wrap-your-troubles-in-dream.html) and its presented at Lautom Contemporary (http://www.lautom.no/) in Oslo, another cool gallery owned by my friend Randi Thommessen.
Ok, so I digress. Ok, so I'm in bed. Sick as a sick cat can be. Puking and drinking and puking. Or something, in other orders or whatever. I'm delusional. Try reading the blog of Andre Gali (http://andregali.blogspot.com/) in this completely fucked up situation. Like having dreams of being in Oslo. Why I have no idea. I guess its because I write for another blog with a ton of Norwegians and Swedes. Perhaps. Blogs like these, a kind of Low-Fi Vanity Fair meets Art Forum situation with little snippets of comments like "("if you got great shoes it doesn't matter what else you wear" - Juan-Pedro Fabra)" really gets me on a roll about this strange monster of a need to head again and again to openings and then complain about them and then getting super knocked out afterwards about it.
Anyways, I'm in Singapore. No openings for me here. Bleah. Por favor. Give me a break.

 io9 is a blog I read. Every single day. Religiously. One of the most well-informed blogs about popular science fiction, it covers everything from how "Real-Life Oxygen Destroyer Kills Ocean Creatures" to "An Alien Abduction Epic We're Dying To See" to "Coming Soon from China: Dystopic Futures, the Next Steve Jobs, and a World Full of Drumming Androids". Seriously. If you love science fiction, read this blog. My favorite post is of course this one :
